The easy way to change the email over to new server is to just change the following 4 settings in the existing account:

  1. Change incoming mail server from pop3.okcomputer to: mx1.sitehost.co.nz
  2. Write down your existing mailbox (logon/user) name – something like user03
  3. Change that field now to your full email address
  4. password: [your OLD mailbox name, that you just written down]
  5. Click advanced/more settings and find where it says incoming server port (DON'T CHANGE THE OUTGOING SMTP SETTINGS !)
  6. Tick the box (or drop-down list) to say: This server requires SSL (it will change POP port from 110 to 995)
  7. Click OK to everything
  8. Send a test email to yourself
