New Web and Email Server

We have upgraded our email servers and made the following changes:

  • Better Virus and Spam filter
  • Create your own OUT of OFFICE replies on the Webmail logon above
  • Mailbox size increased from 50MB to 500 MB
  • Single message size with attachment increased from 10MB to 35 MB
  • New webmail Interface logon: http://okcomputer.co.nz/webmail

Virus Alert!

Hello Everyone.

Please be alerted about malicious threats and virus. They are getting nastier lately. Just last week alone, we worked on 6 computers which are virus infected. So I would like to explain what viruses are and how to prevent them. Here are some information about the virus.

What is a computer virus?

A computer virus is a small software program that spreads from one computer to another computer and that interferes with computer operation. A computer virus may corrupt or delete data on a computer, use an e-mail program to spread the virus to other computers, or even delete everything on the hard disk.

Over three years ago I wrote that DropSend was the answer for sharing files, but nowadays I recommend Dropbox.
